Walk 24 St Lawrence Cornfields - 2.5 miles

Returning home a few days ago I spotted some beautiful fields full of artistically arranged bales of hay and decided to walk there the next day to get some classic shots. The walk just followed the Whitwell Road as for as St Lawrence Shute, with the fields appearing between the Rugby club and the lane leading up from the Shute to Week Farm.

It's best to do the beginning of the walk on the footpath in the hedgerow as there are no pavements and the road is quite busy in August (at least by island standards).

As it was Cowes Week I had occasional glimpses of yachts sailing round the island.
